My Journey
I grew up immersed in a world of art, architecture & design. At age of 14 I've graduated from School of Fine Arts for Children, where during 4 years I had an opportunity to experiment with different media, learn history of art & take pottery classes. Carrying a love for watercolours & ink sketches throughout my life, I try to capture daily emotions & inspirations on the pages of my notebook...
I have studied architecture, even though my heart always belonged to interiors. Followed graduation I have worked on restoration of historical landmarks in Saint-Petersburg ( The State Hermitage Museum, Pavlovsk Palace, The Peter & Paul Fortress). It was priceless experience for me – to touch history, dig into old archives, & finally integrate modern technologies into interiors created couple of centuries ago.
Following my true passion to interiors I've completed the course of Spatial Design in London, city which taught me so much & that "out of the box" thinking.
Few years later I've moved to Asia, diving into a real construction boom. Joining HBA, hospitality design firm, I've worked on luxury hospitality projects in South Asia (ShangriLa, Waldorf Astoria, ClubMed. Pullman, Lamborghini Hotel).
I have moved around a lot. I have lived in 5 different countries with different cultures, traditions & even food preferences. This nomad lifestyle taught me how important is to have a functional, harmonious home, even if it's a rental apartment for few months. It is a relaxing space to retreat to - a quiet place to unplug, free from distractions & daily stresses.
Today as a creator of Elegia Interiors, I keep following my passion for Interior design. I accompany you in all your decoration & development projects to create an interior that looks like you & corresponds to your tastes, expectations & budget. I offer you a unique timeless decoration, my tips & tricks to beautify your interior, increase your daily wellbeing && make you gain in quality of life.
